Lenovo ThinkStation P720 Drivers for Windows 7/8.1/10

Lenovo ThinkStation P720 Drivers – The Lenovo ThinkStation P720 is a similar machine with a smaller chassis. This means that it can only contain two NVIDIA P6000 or GP1200 GPU (compared to the three P920 GPU’s), but it can still include two Intel Xeon Platinum, Gold, Silver, or Bronze CPUS. The P720 design gives users the option to add up to 384 GB of DDR4 2666 RAM memory with 12 DIMM slots available.

The amount of detail that digital artists and creative professionals need to generate is amazing. A CGI character requires so much processing power (because the amount of data can be massive) that should generally be divided into different parts of the body, as components in an assembly. This allows the artist or creator the ability to better manipulate their 3D data in real time (or as close as possible).

The ThinkStation P series has a large amount of raw processing power for almost any type of single thread or multi-wire workload. No artist or creative professional wants to delay because the hardware on your workstation is inadequate. Artists and creative professionals cannot afford to stay behind or become a bottleneck in production for the wrong reasons.

If you are not building your own computer, you may not have time, and you are looking for a workstation, it is reasonable to conclude that you might be interested in consulting this latest offer from Lenovo. And if you can’t go to Lenovo, don’t worry, because the company is on a world tour.

Lenovo is participating in a world tour of North America, Asia and Europe in the coming weeks to showcase the new ThinkStation P series in a variety of contexts. The company’s hope is to highlight who you think will benefit from the workstations and what kind of work you can do in different industries around the world.

The ThinkStation P920 and P720 look like rugged workstations capable of processing large amounts of data sets and manipulating them in real time.

The ThinkStation P720 is the smallest of the two. It features dual processor sockets, twelve DDR4-2666 memory slots, four drive bays, three PCIe x16 slots, one PCIe x8 slot, one time PCIe x4 slot and one single PCI slot. It also has two integrated M. 2 connectors, which are directly on the motherboard rather than on an intermediate card as in the previous generation of Lenovo workstations.

The smaller chassis of the P720 limits it to two double-slot graphics cards. The 5 1/4 “front-access” compartment can be used to accommodate additional hard drives or SSD, making the total number of storage units six.
